Now in its second year of existence, the Fashion Tech Forum is an exciting conference whose mission statement is to provide “a platform and catalyst for innovation, ideas and partnerships in the fashion, retail, investment and technology industries.” Their next event is right around the corner, taking place Thursday June 11th to be exact!
Founded by Karen Harvey and the Karen Harvey consulting group, the invitation-only event is set to host 500 of the world’s most influential designers, CEOs, founders, and investors in fashion, media, tech and retail.
These influencers are set to discuss how fashion tech will affect wearable tech, the retail industry, and company culture among other things.
Guess what? Our CEO Stephane Marceau will be joining panel moderator Danika Laszuk, VP of Marketing for Jawbone; Roger Wood, Co-Founder of Orion; Scott Broock, VP of Content for Jaunt, and Amy Gallo, VP of Design for Kate Spade. The panel will be discussing the future of fashion and technology for wearables and beyond, as well as how that could impact the customer experience for fashion brands.
The topic is especially relevant for Stephane in light of the partnership OMsignal announced with Ralph Lauren in late 2014. The partnership also marked the first time that a fashion designer as iconic and as enduring as Ralph Lauren debuted an apparel product that infuses both technology and fashion – both online and retail to boot!
If you don’t get a chance to bump into Stephane, we also have an OMsignal booth where yours truly will be answering all of your questions and showing off our Biometric Smartwear!
